Greetings!
I’m Michelle. Welcome to my page. I created Motion Wellness Bodywork out of a passion to help people feel their best. Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked for the government for over 20 years with much of that work in the medical field. That experience allowed me to realize there was a need for a more holistic approach to achieve overall well-being.

During your session, I will use an intuitive blend of modalities to help restore function, decrease pain, and increase body awareness. I have a passion for core health and function. I am currently enrolled in the Visceral Manipulation series facilitated by the Barral Institute. I am qualified to work with multiple organs of the digestive system. Each session will be tailored to your needs. I may use a variety of tools, heat packs, hot towels, and therapeutic creams. This will be at no additional cost. I have also completed the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) course which will allow me to work with you more in-depth on specific movement patterns that may not be optimum, relax overactive muscles, and work on strength techniques. We will work together as a team.
My goal is for you to feel good moving and to leave each session feeling better than when you came in. I believe everyone is whole and deserves to feel that way. I have an enthusiasm for lifelong learning, longevity through nutrition and fitness, and the well-being of all humans. Thank you for entrusting me with this aspect of your health.
